Logon and logout

You can manage RDS instances by using the RDS console. This document mainly introduces how to log on to the instance management interface of the RDS console and how to log out from the RDS console.

Prerequisite

You have created RDS instances. For more information on how to create an RDS instance, see Create an instance.

Log on to the RDS instance management interface

  1. Log on to the RDS console.

  2. Select the region where the target instance is located.

  3. Click the ID of the instance or the corresponding Manage button to visit the instance management interface, as shown in the following picture.

    Note: You can visit the specific management page as needed to manage the instance’s accounts, database, network settings and so on.

Log out from the RDS console

You can log out from the RDS console by using one of the following two methods:

  • Directly close the browser.

  • Place the mouse over the account information in the upper right corner of the console, and then click Sign out, as shown in the following picture.
