This topic describes the consequences of overdue payments for Real User Monitoring (RUM).
How to determine an overdue payment status
An Alibaba Cloud account bill is considered overdue if the account balance is insufficient to cover the bill on the day it is issued.
Notification after overdue payment
Should a bill become overdue, ARMS will issue an overdue payment notification via email, text message, or internal message on the same day. Upon receiving this notification, you should promptly add funds to your Alibaba Cloud account to resolve the overdue payments.
Impact after overdue payment
Overdue payments result in RUM ceasing to collect data and monitor your application. However, your application remains intact, and your data is not deleted. RUM will resume data collection once the overdue payments are settled.
Prevent overdue payments
Specify an alert threshold
Log on to the Expenses and Costs console. On the Account Overview page, specify an alert threshold. This way, if your account balance is lower than the alert threshold, you are automatically notified with a text message.
Set usage limit
You can click ARMS console on the page to establish a usage limit. A dialog box will appear where you can set the write volume limit and configure the alert notification object and period for when usage approaches the limit. Set a limit
