Unbind EIPs

Description

This operation allows users to unbind an EIP. When unbinding an EIP, consider the following:

  • The EIP can only be unbound when the ECS instance is in Running or Stopped status.

Request parameters

Name Type Required Description
Action String Yes Value: UnassociateEipAddress.
AllocationId String Yes Indicates the instance ID of the EIP.
InstanceId String Yes Indicates the ID of an ECS instance.

Error code

Error code Description Http status code Meaning
IncorrectEipStatus Current elastic IP status does not support this operation. 400 The current status of the specified EIP does not support unbinding.
InvalidAllocationId.NotFound Specified allocation ID is not found. 404 The unbinding failed because the specified allocation ID of the EIP does not exist.
InvalidInstanceId.NotFound Specified instance does not exist. 400 The unbinding failed because the specified ECS instance does not exist.
IncorrectInstanceStatus The current status of instance does not support this operation. 400 The unbinding failed because the current status of the specified ECS instance does not support this operation.
