Modify EIP attributes

This operation allows users to modify the attributes of a specified EIP. This interface is mainly used to modify the bandwidth of the EIP. When modifying EIP attributes, consider the following:

  • The bandwidth limit of an EIP can be modified infinitely, and the new setting takes effect immediately.

Request parameters

Name Type Required Description
Action String Yes Value: ModifyEipAddressAttribute.
AllocationId String Yes Indicates the allocation ID.
Bandwidth String Yes Indicates the modified bandwidth of the EIP, measured in Mbps.

Return parameters

All parameters are public return parameters. For details, refer to Public Return Parameters.

Error code

Error code Description Http status code Meaning
InvalidParameter Specified value of Bandwidth is not supported. 400 The specified Bandwidth value is invalid.
InsufficientBalance Your account does not have enough balance. 400 Modifying the bandwidth of the EIP failed because account balance is insufficient.
InvalidAllocationId.NotFound Specified allocation ID is not found. 404 The specified allocation ID of the EIP does not exist.
