This topic describes how to enable or disable instance allocation on a host in an ApsaraDB for MyBase dedicated cluster.

Background information

  • If a host in an ApsaraDB for MyBase dedicated cluster requires maintenance or you do not want the system to allocate instances to a host, you can disable instance allocation on the host on the Hosts page.
  • If you want the system to allocate instances to the host, you can enable instance allocation on the host on the Hosts page.
Note The Allocation Status of the host defaults to Enabled.

Prerequisites

A MyBase for MySQL host is created. For more information, see Add hosts to a MyBase for MySQL dedicated cluster.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the deployment region.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. Find the dedicated cluster that you want to manage and click Details in the Actions column.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Hosts.
  5. Find the host that you want to manage, and choose More > Enable/Disable Instance Allocation.
  6. Select Allocation Stopped or Allocation Allowed and click OK.
