ApsaraDB for MyBase:Restart a host in an ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL dedicated cluster

Last Updated:Sep 21, 2023

If a host in an ApsaraDB for MyBase dedicated cluster has performance problems or other problems, you can restart the host on the Hosts page.

Prerequisites

A host is created in an ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL dedicated cluster. For more information, see Create a host in an ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL dedicated cluster.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Hosts.

  4. Find the host that you want to restart, and click More > Restart Host in the Actions column.

  5. On the Restart Host page, click Restart.

    Note
    • When the host is restarted, the primary instance that runs on the host becomes the secondary instance on another host after a primary/secondary switchover. During the switchover, one or two transient connections may occur.

    • The time required to restart the host varies based on the duration of the primary/secondary switchover.

    • If the host is restarted when an instance is being created or migrated, a longer time is required to create or migrate the instance.
