    This topic describes the cause and the solution to the issue that a local file cannot be uploaded because the ad-blocking browser extensions block the upload path of the local file.

    Description

    The upload status of the local file is displayed as blocked:other in the developer tool.

    Cause

    The upload path of the local file matches the rules of the ad-blocking browser extensions. As a result, the upload path is blocked and the local file cannot be uploaded. This is independent of Object Storage Service (OSS).

    Solution

    Check whether ad-blocking browser extensions, such as AdBlock, uBlock Origin, AdGuard, and StopAds, are enabled in the browser. If an ad-blocking browser extension is enabled in the browser, disable the ad-blocking browser extension.
