After you create a policy, you can modify, clone, or delete the policy based on your business requirements. This topic describes how to modify, clone, or delete a custom policy.
Limits
The policy that you want to modify, clone, or delete must be a custom policy. System policies cannot be modified, deleted, or cloned.
Modify a policy
You can modify the configurations of a custom policy to meet your business requirements. The following section describes how.
Procedure
Log on to the WUYING Workspace console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the upper-left corner of the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Policies page, find the policy that you want to modify and click Change Policy in the Actions column.
In the Change Policy panel, modify the policy configurations based on your requirements.
For more information, see Create a policy.
ImportantIf your policy is effective on all CIDR blocks and is associated with a cloud computer, you cannot directly specify a CIDR block for the policy to take effect only on. Instead, you must disassociate the cloud computer from the policy, clone the policy or create an identical policy, specify a CIDR block for the new policy, and then re-associate the cloud computer with the new policy.
Click OK.
Rules for modifications to take effect
After you modify the configurations of a policy, the modifications are applied to the associated cloud computer based on certain rules. The following table lists the rules for different modifications to take effect.

You can modify the new policy based on your business requirements. In later cloud computer creation or policy replacement operations, you can directly use the new policy.
Delete a policy
You can delete a policy that you no longer need. The following section describes how.
The policy to be deleted cannot be associated with any cloud computer. If the policy is associated with a cloud computer, you must associate the cloud computer with another policy before you can delete the current policy. For more information, see Change an associated policy.
