CREATE RESTORE POINT

Last Updated: Jun 18, 2021

Description

You can use this statement to create a restore point. This feature allows you to save a snapshot of the current state of the data, and then access the data in the snapshot later. OceanBase Database does not support rolling back to this restore point.

After you create a restore point, you can check the system change number (SCN) of the restore point in the V$RESTORE_POINT view, and use SELECT * FROM table_name AS OF SCN scn; to query the values in the data snapshot.
