Valued Express Connect users,

Starting July 1, 2021, you must enable outbound data transfer billing before you can create connections over Express Connect circuits. After you enable outbound data transfer billing, the following changes are applied to the billing of your Express Connect service:

  • You are no longer charged initial installation fees.
  • You are no longer charged virtual border router (VBR) fees.
  • You are charged outbound data transfer fees. For more information about the billing of outbound data transfer, see Billing.

    If you enable outbound data transfer billing between 00:00 (UTC+8) on July 1, 2021 and 00:00 (UTC+8) on July 1, 2022, you can claim a free outbound data transfer plan. The outbound data transfer plan is automatically applied to offset 50 TB of outbound data transfer each month. The validity period of the outbound data transfer plan is 12 months.
