This topic describes how to create a convenience user.

Background information

You can create convenience users in Manual entry or Batch entry mode. The following section describes how to create users in Manual entry mode in the Elastic Desktop Service (EDS) console. For more information, see Create or import a convenience user.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the EDS console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select a region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Users.
  4. On the User management page, click Create User.
  5. On the Manual entry tab, enter a username and email address, and click Create User.

  6. Click Close.

Result

After the user is created, you can view the information about the user on the User management page, and the status of the user is Normal.
