You can search for a specific community image by specifying the name, ID, or owner ID of the community image. Then, you can use the community image to create ECS instances. This topic describes how to search for a community image in the ECS console.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Images page.
    1. Log on to the ECS console.
    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Instances & Images > Images.
    3. In the top navigation bar, select a region.
  2. Click the Community mirror image tab.
    On the Community mirror image tab, you can view all community images within the current region.
  3. Search for a specific community image in the search box.
    Perform the following operations: Search box
    1. In the section tagged ①, select an option from the drop-down list. The following options are supported:
      • Image Name
      • Image ID
      • Owner ID
    2. In the section tagged ②, enter a value that matches the selected option.
    3. In the section tagged ③, click the search icon to search for the community image.
    For example. you can select Image ID from the drop-down list and enter m-0xi9qpscgk8**** in the search box. A similar result is displayed as shown in the following figure. Search for a community image
