Billing method

Fees for reserved OSS DDoS protection instances (SecReserved)

You are charged based on the number of OSS DDoS protection instances that you purchased and the usage duration of the instances.

You are billed on an hourly basis. Bills are generally generated after a billing cycle ends. The time when bills are generated is determined by the system.

  • Pay-as-you-go: Fees for OSS DDoS protection instance reservation = Number of OSS DDoS instances × Usage duration of the instances × Unit price per hour.

  • Resource plan: Go to the OSS Resource Plan page and select DDoS Protection Basic Plan.

Fees for the remaining duration of OSS DDoS protection instances that are released within the minimum usage duration (SecEarlyReleased)

If an OSS DDoS protection instance is released within seven days after the instance is created, you are charged for the remaining duration (7 days × 24 hours - Actual usage duration).

  • Pay-as-you-go: Fees for the remaining duration of OSS DDoS protection instances that are released within the minimum usage duration = Unit price per hour for DDoS protection resource reservation × (7 days × 24 hours - Actual usage duration).

  • Resource plan: Go to the OSS Resource Plan page and select DDoS Protection Basic Plan.

Fees for traffic protected by OSS DDoS protection instances (SecFlow)

You are charged fees for outbound and inbound traffic that is generated over the Internet when the buckets that are attached to your purchased OSS DDoS instance are accessed. The fees are calculated based on the maximum outbound or inbound traffic.

  • Pay-as-you-go: Fees for traffic protected by OSS DDoS protection instances = Maximum amount of outbound or inbound traffic over the Internet × Unit price per GB.

  • Resource plan: not supported.

Fees for API requests protected by OSS DDoS protection instances (SecRequest)

You are charged fees for API requests that are initiated to access buckets that are attached to the OSS DDoS protection instance that you purchased. The fees are calculated based on the number of API requests.

Note

You are charged for both successful and failed requests.

  • Pay-as-you-go: Fees for API requests protected by OSS DDoS protection instances = Number of requests × Unit price per 10,000 requests/10,000.

  • Resource plan: not supported.
