In the ApsaraDB for HBase console, you can add HBase data sources to Lindorm Tunnel Service (LTS) instances.

Prerequisites

An LTS instance is created. For more information, see Create an LTS instance.

Associate an LTS instance with an ApsaraDB for HBase instance to automatically add an HBase data source

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
  2. On the Clusters page, click the ID of the LTS instance to which you want to add the HBase data source.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data source management and click Add data source.
  4. In the Add data source dialog box, configure the following parameters. Add a data source
    Parameter Description
Instance type The type of the instance with which you want to associate.
Instance region The region ID of the instance with which you want to associate. For example, you can select cn-hangzhou.
Instance ID The ID of the instance with which you want to associate.
    Note
    • If you select VPC under the current logon account, the IDs of the instances that belong to the current logon account are displayed in the Instance ID drop-down list. Select the instance ID from the drop-down list.
    • If you select Associate an ApsaraDB for HBase instance for another account, specify the information about the ApsaraDB for HBase instance that belongs to another account.
  5. Click OK.

Add an HBase data source

You can add an HBase data source in the following scenarios:
  • Your cluster is a self-managed HBase cluster.
  • Your cluster is an E-MapReduce HBase cluster.
  • Your ApsaraDB for HBase cluster and your LTS instance are deployed in different virtual private clouds (VPCs).
  1. On the Clusters page, click the ID of the LTS instance to which you want to add an HBase data source.
  2. On the Basic Information page, click BDS in the UI Access section. The LTS page appears.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Source Manage > Data Source List.
  4. On the Data Sources page, click Add data source. Data Source

    Parameter Description
Name The name of the data source. The name can contain digits and letters.
Data Source Type The type of the HBase data source. Valid values: HBase1x, HBase2x, HBase098, and HBase094.
Note HBase1X specifies HBase version 1.x. HBase2x specifies HBase version 2.x. HBase098 specifies HBase version 0.98. HBase094 specifies HBase version 0.94.
