This topic describes how to add an ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition data source.

Add an ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition data source in the ApsaraDB for HBase console

Prerequisites

Your Lindorm Tunnel Service (LTS) cluster and ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition (Lindorm) cluster are in the same virtual private cloud (VPC). For more information about how to connect different network environments when you use ApsaraDB for HBase, see Network connection.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
  2. On the Clusters page, click the ID of the LTS cluster for which you want to configure an ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition data source.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data source management, and then click Add data source.
  4. In the Add data source dialog box, set the parameters to add an ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition data source.
  5. After the data source is added, view the associated cluster in the LTS console.
    Note You may need to wait for about 1 minute for the association to take effect.

Add an ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition data source in the LTS console

Prerequisites

Your LTS cluster and ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition (Lindorm) cluster are in different VPCs.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the LTS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data source management > Add data source.
  2. On the Add data source page, set the following parameters.
    ParameterDescription
    Cluster NameThe name of the cluster. The cluster name can contain only digits and letters.
    Data Source TypeSelect ApsaraDB for HBase Enhanced Edition (Lindorm).
    ParametersExample: Set the clusterKey parameter to x.hbaseue.rds.aliyuncs.com:30020:xusername:xpassword.
    • x.hbaseue.rds.aliyuncs.com: The access URL of the ApsaraDB for HBase Enhanced Edition (Lindorm) cluster. You can obtain the value of this parameter in the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
    • 30020: The port number.
    • xusername: The username of the account.
    • xpassword: The password of the account.
    Cluster/etc/hosts (Only applicable to self-managed Apache HBase clusters and E-MapReduce clusters)Use the default value.
  3. Click Add.
