This topic describes how to add an ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition data source.

Configure automatic association in the console

Prerequisites
Your Lindorm Tunnel Service (LTS) cluster is in the same virtual private cloud (VPC) as your ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition (Lindorm) cluster.
Procedure
  1. Log on to the Database HBase Console
  2. On the Cluster, click the BDS target instance.Cluster
  3. Select Data Source Management in the left navigation bar, and click Add data source.Add data sourcs
  4. Add a data source on the Add data source pop-up page.Add data source
  5. After the association, you can see the newly associated cluster on the LTS web UI.
    Note You may need to wait for about 1 minute for the association to take effect.

Perform a manual association

Scenarios
Your LTS and ApsaraDB for HBase Performance-enhanced Edition (Lindorm) clusters are in different VPCs.
Procedure
  1. Log on to the LTS web UI. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Source Manage > Add Data Source.
  2. On the Add data source page, configure the following parameters.
    Parameter Description
    Name The name of the cluster. The name can contain only digits and letters.
    Data Source Type Select Lindorm for HBase(Enhanced Edition).
    Parameters The "clusterKey":"x.hbaseue.rds.aliyuncs.com:30020:xusername:xpassword" string is used as an example.
    • x.hbaseue.rds.aliyuncs.com: the access URL of Lindorm. Obtain the URL in the Lindorm console.
    • 30020: the port number.
    • xusername: the name of the account.
    • xpassword: the password.
    Cluster/etc/hosts (Only EMR or OpenSource Cluster needed) Optional.
  3. Click Add.
