This topic describes how to view the monitoring data of the dedicated proxies that are enabled on an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance. The monitoring data includes the CPU utilization. Based on the monitoring data, you can obtain the loads on the dedicated proxies. This provides a quick method to adjust the number of dedicated proxies.

Prerequisites

The dedicated proxy service is enabled for your RDS instance. For more information, see Enable the dedicated proxy service for an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Database Proxy page.
    1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for RDS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your RDS instance resides.

    2. Find your primary RDS instance and click its ID. In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Proxy.
  2. Click the Monitoring Data tab.
  3. Select a time range and view the CPU Utilization (%) metric over the selected time range.
    Note The CPU Utilization (%) metric indicates the CPU utilization that is occupied by the enabled dedicated proxies.
