This topic describes how to approve tickets by using a schema design ticket and a data change ticket as examples.

Approve a schema design ticket

  1. Log on to the DMS console as an administrator.
  2. In the DMS console, click Pending Tickets in the My Tickets section.

  3. On the My Tickets page, click the required ticket number.

  4. On the page that appears, view and confirm the schema change.
  5. Click Click to View.

  6. In the Approval Details message, click Approve.
    Note If the new schema does not conform to specifications, click Deny.
  7. In the Approve Application dialog box, enter comments and click Execution Confirmation.

    After you click Execution Confirmation, DMS performs the next operation. For example, if you set Execution Strategy to Execute Now, DMS immediately changes the schema after the ticket is approved.

Approve a data change ticket

  1. Log on to the DMS console as an administrator.
  2. In the DMS console, click Pending Tickets in the My Tickets section.

  3. On the My Tickets page, click the required ticket number.

    On the My Tickets page, you can view the tickets that you are authorized to access.

  4. On the Ticket Details page, confirm the change information in the ticket and click Approve.

    Note If the information does not conform to specifications, click Deny.
  5. In the dialog box that appears, enter comments and click Submit.

    After you click Execution Confirmation, DMS performs the next operation. For example, if you set Execution Strategy to Execute Now, DMS immediately changes the data after the ticket is approved.
