This topic describes how to downgrade instance configurations in the Message Queue for RabbitMQ console when your business loads decrease.

A Message Queue for RabbitMQ subscription instance is created and is in the running state. For more information about how to create an instance, see Create an instance.
Notice Pay-as-you-go instances, instances of Basic Edition, and instances of Enterprise Platinum Edition do not support configuration downgrade.

Background information

You can update the following configuration items:

  • Support Internet Access
  • Internet TPS
  • Peak TPS
  • Queues
Notice After you increase limits on clusters for an instance of Professional Edition, the actual limits depend on the number of queues in the instance. If you decrease the value of Queues, the limits on clusters are also decreased. For more information, see Limits on clusters (after free update).
