Last Updated:Jan 08, 2024

Overview

If you want to use Global Traffic Manager (GTM), you must connect a business domain name that is accessed by visitors with the CNAME access domain name of your GTM instance.

Prerequisites

GTM is authorized to access cloud resources. A GTM instance is created. An address pool is created. An access policy is configured. Basic settings are configured for the instance.

Procedure

If your domain name is hosted by Alibaba Cloud DNS, you must configure a CNAME record in the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Global Traffic Manager. On the Global Traffic Manager page, find the required instance and click Settings in the Actions column. On the Basic Settings page, click the copy icon next to CNAME(Internet).
