If you no longer require a custom image, you can delete the image. This topic describes the precautions and operations to delete a custom image.
Precautions
You can delete only custom images and shared images.
If you want to delete shared images, you must be the image sharer. Image recipients cannot delete shared images.
Usage notes
Warning If you delete an image, the custom cloud computer templates that are created by using the image may also be deleted. After you delete the image, you cannot use the image or the custom cloud computer templates that are created by using the image to create cloud computers or cloud computer pools. Proceed with caution when you delete images.
Before you delete an image, take note of the usage notes that are described in the following table.

Delete a custom image | You cannot delete an image that is being imported. You cannot delete an image that is being used by custom cloud computer templates, cloud computers, and cloud computer pools. In other scenarios, you can delete the image. If the image that you want to delete is being used only by custom cloud computer templates, the custom cloud computer templates and the image are deleted at the same time. If the image that you want to delete is being used by cloud computers, the custom cloud computer templates and the image are deleted at the same time. If the cloud computers that use the image have scheduled reset tasks, the scheduled reset tasks expire after you delete the image. If the cloud computers that use the image do not have scheduled reset tasks, you cannot create scheduled reset tasks based on the image for the cloud computers after you delete the image.
If the image that you want to delete is being used by cloud computer pools, you must replace the image with another image before you delete the image. For information about how to replace an image, see Change the image of a cloud computer or cloud computer pool. After you delete an image, the cloud computers that are created based on the image can run as expected.

Delete a shared image | Before you delete a shared image as the image sharer, you must revoke sharing from all recipients. For more information about specific operations, see Share or unshare an image. After you delete a shared image, the image recipients can no longer perform the following operations: The recipients cannot query the image. The recipients cannot use the image to create custom cloud computer templates, cloud computers, or cloud computer pools.

Delete an image copy | You cannot delete an image whose copy is being created. If you delete a source image, the copy of the source image is retained. If you delete an image copy, the source image is retained.

Procedure
- Log on to the WUYING Workspace console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- In the upper-left corner of the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Images page, click the Custom Image or Shared Image tab.
Find the image that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.
In the message that appears, confirm the image and complete the deletion as prompted.
