Configure disk space alerts before you use an instance. We recommend that you set the threshold of disk space utilization to 80%. When the disk space utilization exceeds 80%, we recommend that you expand the storage. When the disk space utilization exceeds 95%, the instance is locked. This affects the operations of writing data to the instance and compromises your services. For more information about how to configure the alerts, see the "Monitoring and alerts" topic.
The open source HBCK tool is not allowed.
The open source HBCK tool checks your cluster status by comparing meta tables with meta files that are stored in Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). However, the HDFS port is not enabled in ApsaraDB for HBase. If you use the open source HBCK tool, meta information errors occur to your instance and the instance becomes unavailable.
