Overview

The Overview page provides guidance on the operation process in the OceanBase management console. You can view the monitoring metrics such as the transactions per second (TPS), queries per second (QPS), and number of sessions.

Guidance on the operation process

Log on to the OceanBase management console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview. The Overview page provides guidance on using the console, including: creating a cluster, creating a tenant, creating a database, and connecting to a database.

Create a cluster

Clusters of various specifications are available and quick scale-out and scale-in are supported. You can purchase clusters with desired specifications.

Create a tenant

You can create a tenant in the cluster. A tenant is a logical concept and a resource allocation unit.

Create a database

You can create a database under a tenant and then connect the database to an application.

Connect to a database

You can find the tenant where a database is located, and then view the connection and account information of the tenant.

Data monitoring

Log on to the OceanBase management console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview. You can select a cluster from the cluster drop-down list and select a time range to view the monitoring metrics such as the TPS, QPS, number of sessions, and disk usage of the target cluster.
