ApsaraDB for Lindorm (Lindorm) is highly compatible with the SQL syntax in Phoenix. However, Lindorm has the following limits:

  • 1. You cannot add the DEFAULT VALUE keyword to the CREATE TABLE statement or create a table that uses the ARRAY data type. You cannot configure the following table attributes: MULTI_TENANT, SALT_BUCKETS, DISABLE_WAL, DEFAULT_COLUMN_FAMILY, and TRANSACTIONAL.
  • 2. You cannot execute the CREATE VIEW or DROP VIEW statement.
  • 3. You cannot add the DROP COLUMN keyword to the ALTER TABLE statement. You cannot modify the following table attributes: MULTI_TENANT, SALT_BUCKETS, DISABLE_WAL, DEFAULT_COLUMN_FAMILY, and TRANSACTIONAL.
  • 4. You cannot execute the CREATE LOCAL INDEX or DROP LOCAL INDEX statement.
  • 5. You cannot execute the CREATE FUNCTION or DROP FUNCTION statement. Lindorm does not support user-defined functions (UDFs).
  • 6. When you execute the DELETE statement, the WHERE clause is required.

If you have questions about the limits, submit a ticket or join a DingTalk group. For more information, see Expert support.
