This topic describes how to access a user-created data source, the portal for creating a data source, and databases based on which data sources can be created.

Access a user-created data source

You can use one of the following methods to access a user-created data source:
  • Add the IP address that you want to use to access the data source to a whitelist of the database based on which the data source is created.

For example, you can add the CIDR block 10.152.69.0/24, 10.152.163.0/24, or 139.224.4.0/24 to the whitelist. IP addresses in the CIDR block can be used to access the database.

  • Access the data source from the Internet by using a VPN, a VPC, or an SSH tunnel.
