Quick BI:Overview of Creating a Database Data Source

Entry of creating a datasource

Log on to the Quick BI console Quick BI the console and use one of the methods shown in the figure to go to the Create Data Source page.

• Method 1: Create a workbook from Quick Start on the Workbench tab out of a workspace.

  

• Entry 2: Create data from the Data Sources in Space module

  

• Entry 3: Quickly create a resource list in a space

  

After you create a data source by using one of the preceding methods, the Connect to Data Source page appears. You can select a data source and configure the connection.

Copy a whitelist

If you use Quick BI to connect to a database over the Internet, you must add the CIDR blocks of Quick BI to a whitelist of the database instance to ensure network connectivity.

You can click Copy Whitelist on the Data Source Configuration page to obtain the Quick BI IP addresses. (Alibaba Cloud MySQL is used as an example)
