This topic describes how to add tags to Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) instances. After you add tags, you can classify, search, and view CEN instances by tag.

Prerequisites

A CEN instance is created. For more information, see Create a CEN instance.

Background information

  • Tags are key-value pairs. Each tag consists of a key and a value. When you add a tag, you must specify a tag key but you can leave the tag value empty.
  • The keys of the tags that are added to the same CEN instance must be unique. If you add a tag with a used key, the new tag overwrites the one that uses the same key.
  • You can add at most 20 tags to a CEN instance.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the CEN console.
  2. On the Instances page, find the CEN instance.
  3. Click the Tags icon in the Tag column.
  4. Click Add. In the Configure Tags dialog box, set the following parameters:
    Parameter Description
Tag Key The key of the tag.

The key cannot be an empty string. It can be at most 64 characters in length, and cannot contain http:// or https://. It must not start with aliyun or acs:.

Tag Value The value of the tag.

The value can be an empty string. It can be at most 128 characters in length, and cannot contain http:// or https://. It must not start with aliyun or acs:.

  5. Click OK.
After you add tags, you can move your pointer over the Tags are added icon, and view the tags that are added to the CEN instance. Add tags
