To improve user experience and reduce operational costs, Data Management Service (DMS) allows you to share the SQLConsole tab of a database or a ticket with other users by generating a share link. This topic describes how to generate a share link for the SQLConsole tab of a database or a ticket.

Background information

Share links are useful in various ways. You can share the SQLConsole tab, including SQL statements that you entered on this tab, of a database with a newly hired employee to familiarize the employee with the business. You can share historical tickets with a security administrator for auditing. You can also share historical data change tickets with a user who wants to obtain historical change records of relevant databases.

Scenarios

  • Share the SQLConsole tab of a database.
  • Share a ticket.
Note Schema design tickets cannot be shared.
