To improve user experience and reduce operational costs, Data Management (DMS) allows you to share the SQLConsole tab of a database or a ticket with other users by generating a share link. This topic shows you how to enable a share link. This topic also shows you how to set the parameters for sharing the SQLConsole tab of a database or a ticket with other users.

Background information

You can use a share link to achieve the following benefits:
  • Share the SQLConsole tab, including the SQL statements that you entered on this tab, of a database with a new employee to familiarize the employee with the business.
  • Share historical tickets with a security administrator for auditing.
  • Share historical data change tickets with a new employee who wants to obtain the historical change records of relevant databases.

Only DMS users are allowed to use a share link. To view the users that have permissions on the feature, move the pointer over the More icon in the DMS console and choose System > User.
