This topic describes the application scenarios of the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse service-linked role (AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse) and how to delete the role.
Background information
To implement a feature, ApsaraDB for ClickHouse may require permissions to access other Alibaba Cloud services. The service-linked role AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse is a Resource Access Management (RAM) role that authorizes ApsaraDB for ClickHouse to access such services. AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse description
Role name: AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse
Policy attached to the role: AliyunServiceRolePolicyForClickHouse
Permission description:
- Log on to the RAM console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Roles.
- On the Roles page, enter AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse in the search box and click the name of the role.
- On the Permissions tab, click the policy that you want to manage.
- On the Policy Document tab, view the permission description.
Delete a service-linked role
Before you delete the AliyunServiceRoleForClickHouse role, you need to release all
clusters that depend on the role.
