The performance monitoring feature of ApsaraDB for Redis has been upgraded. This optimizes the end-to-end user experience and improves the stability and response time of the monitoring feature.

Upgrade date

As of August 1, 2020, the performance monitoring feature is being gradually upgraded in all regions.

Upgrade features

Upgrade feature Description
Added metrics
  • The following key performance metrics are added: the CPU utilization, used memory capacity, memory usage, and total number of keys.
  • Performance metrics of data nodes and proxy nodes are aggregated and displayed.

For more information, see Metrics.

Deprecated metrics The metrics that measure the command response time are deprecated in each monitoring group. These metrics end with avg_rt. For example, the del_avg_rt and exists_avg_rt metrics in the Keys group.Deprecated metrics
Except for Basic Monitoring Group, the monitoring groups on the proxy node are deprecated. The proxy node now supports only Basic Monitoring Group.Deprecated monitoring groups for proxy nodes

Take note of the following impacts after these performance monitoring metrics are deprecated:

  • You cannot view the monitoring data of deprecated metrics on the Performance Monitor page in the ApsaraDB for Redis console.
  • You cannot call the DescribeHistoryMonitorValues API operation to view the monitoring data of deprecated metrics.
