This topic describes how to query events by time range in the EventBridge console.

Query event traces by time range

  1. Log on to the EventBridge console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Event-driven Operations > Event Query.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select a region.
  4. Click the Query By Time Range tab. On the Query By Time Range tab, set the following parameters and click Query:
    • Time Range: Select a time range.
    • Event Buses: Select an event bus.
    • Event Source: Select an event source.
    • Event Type: Select an event type.
    • Rule Name: Select an event rule.
    Note You can also select a start time and an end time from the Time Range drop-down list.
  5. Find the event whose trace you want to view and click Event Trace in the Operations column.
    In the Event Trace message, view the information about the event in the Event Reception and Event Delivery sections.
    Note To export the event trace, click Export Event Trace in the upper-right corner of the Event Trace message.

Query event details by time range

  1. Click the Query By Time Range tab. On the Query By Time Range tab, set the following parameters and click Query:
    • Time Range: Select a time range.
    • Event Buses: Select an event bus.
    • Event Source: Select an event source.
    • Event Type: Select an event type.
    • Rule Name: Select an event rule.
    Note You can also select a start time and an end time from the Time Range drop-down list.
  2. Find the event whose details you want to view and click Event Detail in the Operations column.
    In the Event Detail message, view the details of the event.
