:What do the message count, number of active messages, and number of delayed messages indicate?

This topic describes the following metrics that are available in the MNS console: message count, number of active messages, and number of delayed messages.

The following metrics are used to summarize different types of messages:

• Message count: the total number of messages, including the messages that are sent and are not sent.
• Number of active messages: the number of messages that can be retrieved.
• Number of delayed messages: the number of messages for which the DelaySeconds parameter is configured.
