LindormSearch provided by ApsaraDB for Lindorm (Lindorm) is the search engine service. This service provides an online search service to query large quantities of data. LindormSearch supports efficient index-based reads and writes. LindormSearch allows you to store data at low costs. LindormSearch also supports fast and elastic scaling. LindormSearch is widely used in scenarios such as website searches, order queries, log analysis, and application performance management (APM).
LindormSearch supports a variety of efficient compression algorithms to reduce index storage costs. In addition, LindormSearch can separate hot data from cold data. This allows you to dump historical data to lower-cost storage media.
- Elasticity based on a cloud native architecture
LindormSearch is developed based on a cloud native architecture in which storage is decoupled from computing. This architecture allows LindormSearch to elastically increase the number of replicas to efficiently manage traffic surges.
- High availability
LindormSearch is built based on a distributed high-availability architecture. This prevents single points of failure in the cluster for LindormSearch. This also allows the service to intelligently identify abnormal traffic. If the service identifies abnormal traffic, it isolates the abnormal traffic from normal traffic to ensure system stability.
- Diverse ecosystems
You can access LindormSearch by using the standard Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Query data by using a combination of fields as the query condition
For example, in logistics order scenarios, you need to store a large amount of tracking information. In these scenarios, you need to query order details by using a combination of multiple fields as the query condition.
- Query data by using geographical locations as the query conditions
For example, in traffic monitoring scenarios, you need to store a large number of traffic records. In these scenarios, you need to query the required information by using a combination of query conditions such as the license plates and locations of vehicles.
- Query data by using text as the query condition
For example, in commodity data query scenarios, you need to store a large quantity of text data about commodities. In these scenarios, you need to query the required commodities by using a specified text phrase as the query condition.
