This topic describes how to create a bastion host.
Prerequisites
An ApsaraDB for MyBase dedicated cluster that runs MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL is created.Background information
Bastion hosts can be used to perform operation audit, access control, security authentication, and efficient O&M to meet the O&M and management requirements of enterprises. Bastion hosts are mainly applied in financial and insurance industries because these industries require reliable audit mechanisms to meet strict security regulations. You can associate ApsaraDB for MyBase hosts with bastion hosts. For more information, see What is Bastionhost?
Procedure
- Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
- In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Dedicated Clusters.
- Find the dedicated cluster that you want to manage and click Details in the Actions column.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Bastion Hosts.
- On the Bastion Hosts page, click Purchase Bastion Host.
- On the Bastionhost page, configure the parameters that are described in the following table.
Parameter Description Region and Zone The region and zone where you want to create the bastion host. Version The edition of the bastion host. Plan The plan of the bastion host. Specify the number of assets based on your business requirements. Extra Bandwidth The bandwidth plan that provides additional bandwidth for the bastion host. Extended Storage Plans The storage plan that provides additional storage capacity for the bastion host. Resource Group The resource group to which the bastion host belongs. Resource groups are designed for enterprise users. Enterprise users can use this feature to organize and manage the resources that are owned by multiple accounts and assigned to multiple projects. Quantity The number of bastion hosts. You can specify the number of bastion hosts based on your business requirements. Duration The subscription duration of the bastion host. You can select Auto-renewal to prevent the bastion host from being released upon expiration. This way, the system renews the bastion host based on the specified subscription duration. For example, if you specify a subscription duration of three months, the system renews the bastion host once every three months. - Click Buy Now.
- On the Confirm Order page, read and select the Terms of Service, and then complete the payment.
