Addition of multiple read-only nodes at a time on the Upgrade/Downgrade page Multiple read-only nodes can be added to a PolarDB cluster at a time on the Upgrade/Downgrade page. It takes only about 5 minutes to add multiple read-only nodes at a time. 2020-07-28 Add or remove a read-only node
Upgrade of the spatio-temporal extension Ganos to version 2.8
  • The API that is used to access the metadata of raster data is enhanced.
  • The ST_SrFromEsriWkt function is added to convert the format of spatial reference strings from Esri to Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC).
  • Raster data can be compressed by using the Zstandard (zstd) compression algorithm or the Snappy compression library.
  • Point cloud data can be copied in binary mode.
  • The PROJ_LIB and GDAL_DATA environment variables can be configured, and the relevant data can be deployed.

Support for the configuration of node failover priorities PolarDB allows you to configure node failover priorities. By default, the priority of each node is 1. You can specify an integer from 1 to 15 as the priority. This does not affect the use of databases. The configuration takes effect in real time. 2019-10-14 Perform a switchover
Switchover between primary and read-only nodes PolarDB allows you to perform a switchover between primary and read-only nodes as planned. You can switch the services of the primary node to a specified read-only node based on your business needs. 2019-10-14 Perform a switchover
