This topic describes how to create, edit, and delete tags for groups in the Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ console.

Create tags for a group

  1. Log on to the Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ console. In the top navigation bar, select a region, such as China (Hangzhou).
    All instances in the selected region appear on the Instances page.
  2. On the Instances page, click the instance name of the group for which you want to create tags.
  3. On the instance page, choose Groups > TCP in the left-side navigation pane.
    This topic uses TCP as an example. Operations over HTTP are the same as operations over TCP.
  4. In the group list, find the target group, move the pointer over the tag_icon icon in the Tag column, and click Add.

  5. In the Edit Tags dialog box, set Tag Key and Tag Value as required and then click OK.

    Note For more information about the limits on tags, see Limits.
    If the tag_icon icon in the Tag column changes to the tag_icon_success icon, the tag is created.

Edit or delete tags for a group

  1. Log on to the Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ console. In the top navigation bar, select a region, such as China (Hangzhou).
    All instances in the selected region appear on the Instances page.
  2. On the Instances page, click the instance name of the group for which you want to edit or delete tags.
  3. On the instance page, choose Groups > TCP in the left-side navigation pane.
    This topic uses TCP as an example. Operations over HTTP are the same as operations over TCP.
  4. In the group list, find the target group, move the pointer over the tag_icon_success icon in the Tag column, and click Edit.

  5. In the Edit Tags dialog box, perform the following operations as needed:
    • Edit tags: Modify the values of Tag Key and Tag Value or enter a new key-value pair in a new row, and then click OK.edit_instance_tag_dialog_box
    • Delete tags: Find the target key-value pair and click tag_delete next to it. Then click OK.delete_instance_tag
    If the The operation is successful. message appears, the tag is edited or deleted.

Create or delete tags for multiple groups in batches

  1. Log on to the Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ console. In the top navigation bar, select a region, such as China (Hangzhou).
    All instances in the selected region appear on the Instances page.
  2. On the Instances page, click the instance name of the groups for which you want to create or delete tags in batches.
  3. On the instance page, choose Groups > TCP in the left-side navigation pane.
    This topic uses TCP as an example. Operations over HTTP are the same as operations over TCP.
  4. In the group list, select the target groups.
    The Set Tags button becomes available.
  5. Click Set Tags and select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

      1. In the Add Tags dialog box, enter key-value pairs as needed in the Tag Key and Tag Value fields.
      2. After you enter key-value pairs, click OK.batch_add_group_dtag_dialog_box

        The key-value pairs are created for all the selected groups.

    • Delete Tagsbatch_delete_group_tag
      1. In the Delete Tags dialog box, click tag_delete next to each key-value pair that you want to delete.
      2. Click OK.batch_delete_group_tag_dialog_box
    If the The operation is successful. message appears, tags are created or deleted in batches.
