The ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console provides a wide variety of performance monitoring data that you can use to view and learn about the running statuses of clusters.

View the cluster monitoring information

  1. Use an Alibaba Cloud account to log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the cluster whose monitoring information you want to query is deployed.
  3. On the Clusters page, click the ID of the cluster. The Cluster Information page appears.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring Details.
  5. View the various monitoring information of the cluster. For more information, see Metric descriptions.
    Note By default, monitoring data generated in the last 1 hour appears. You can also select a time range based on which you can view historical monitoring data. You can query monitoring data that is generated only within the last seven days.

Metric descriptions

Metric Description
CPU utilization The CPU utilization of each node in the cluster.
Memory usage The memory usage of each node in the cluster.
Used memory resources The memory resources used by each node in the cluster. Unit: MB.
Disk usage The ratio of the used disk space to the maximum available disk space.
Used disk space The size of the used disk space. Unit: MB.
Disk IOPS The count of read and write operations on the disk per second.
Size of data read from and written to the disk per second The size of data read from and written to the disk per second.
Database connection usage The ratio of connections used by the database to the maximum number of available connections.
Number of used database connections The number of connections used by the database.
TPS The number of transactions processed per second.
Number of rows written per second The number of rows written to each node per second.
Size of data written per second The size of data written to each node per second. Unit: MB.
QPS The number of queries processed per second.
Average ZooKeeper wait time The length of time that is required to wait for responses from the current ZooKeeper. This metric is used to indicate the responsiveness of ZooKeeper. Unit: milliseconds.
Average I/O wait time The length of time that is required to wait for responses from the current I/O system. This metric is used to indicate the responsiveness of the current I/O system. Unit: milliseconds.
Average CPU wait time The length of time that is required to wait for responses from the current CPU. This metric is used to indicate the responsiveness of CPU. Unit: milliseconds.
