PolarDB:Release an instance

Prerequisites

• All databases that run on your instance are deleted.

  Warning

  After a database is deleted, all data in the database is cleared and cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when you delete databases.

• A pay-as-you-go instance is purchased. Only pay-as-you-go instances can be released.

Procedure

1. Log on to the PolarDB for Xscale console.

2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the target instance is located.

3. On the Instances page, click the PolarDB-X 2.0 tab.

4. Find the instance that you want to manage, and click the icon in the Actions column, and then click Release.

   Warning

   After an instance is released, it cannot be restored. Exercise caution when you release an instance.

5. In the message that appears, click OK.
