This topic provides answers to some commonly asked questions about the billing of ApsaraMQ for MQTT.

Why are fees deducted from my account balance after I send messages by using the quota that I purchased for a subscription Message Queue for MQTT instance?

Your payment for the subscription ApsaraMQ for MQTT instance can be used to deduct only the fees that are incurred when you send and store messages over the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol.

If you use the data inbound rules and data outbound rules of ApsaraMQ for MQTT to establish a connection to ApsaraMQ forRocketMQ, you are charged for calling the messaging API or using the topics in ApsaraMQ forRocketMQ, and these fees are billed to your ApsaraMQ forRocketMQ instance.

How am I charged fees for exporting the online and offline events of Message Queue for MQTT clients to Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ clients?

No fees are billed to ApsaraMQ for MQTT if you export online events and offline events of Message Queue for MQTT clients to Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ clients. However, you are charged for consuming messages in ApsaraMQ forRocketMQ.
