Resource Orchestration Service:Create a tag

Last Updated:Feb 02, 2024

Tags can help you classify templates and manage templates in a centralized manner. This topic describes how to create a tag to manage a template in Resource Orchestration Service (ROS).

Scenarios

If you want to manage a large number of templates in a centralized manner at different degrees, you can classify various cloud resources, such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and Object Storage Service (OSS) resources, and create different tags for the resources. This facilitates subsequent operations that you perform to organize and manage massive template resources.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ROS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Templates > My Templates.
  3. On the My Templates page, click Create Template.
  4. On the Create Template page, enter your ROS template.

  5. In the upper-right corner of the Create Template page, choose Save Template > Save as My Template.

  6. In the Save as My Template dialog box, configure the Template Name, Tag key, and Tag value parameters, and click OK.
