Overview
If you have purchased a subscription instance of the MQTT edition and you receive and send messages at additional costs. This article describes the causes of this problem.
Description
A Message Queue for MQTT instance is a stateless gateway instance that is used to maintain client connections and to forward messages in mobile Internet and IoT scenarios. It does not support message data persistence. You must configure a message storage instance for message storage and message data persistence. At this stage, each Message Queue for MQTT instance must be bound to an RocketMQ instance as a backend storage device. You need to pay extra fees for Topic resources and API calls of Message Queue for RocketMQ instance. For more information, see MQTT quick start of precautions chapter.
Description: in the future, Message Queue for MQTT will be available in non-persistent mode, that is, push-through mode. Messages will not be persisted.
