This topic describes how to find a table in a data source and view the fields and their data types in the table.

Locate a table

If you want to find a table in a data source that has a large number of tables, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the Workspace tab. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Sources.
  2. On the Data Sources page, click the required data source in the My Data Sources list.
  3. In the search box in the upper-right corner of the page, enter a keyword and click the Search icon icon.
    All tables whose names contain the keyword appear.1

View the details of a table

You can check the fields and their data types in a table to determine whether the table meets your business requirements.

  1. On the Data Sources page, click the required data source in the My Data Sources list.
  2. Find the required table and click the View Details icon in the Actions column.
