Intelligent operation

The intelligent operation feature provided by Data Management Service (DMS) is used to summarize user data by day and generate T+1 reports to show user activity in DMS. This topic describes how to use the intelligent operation feature.

Prerequisites

You are a DMS administrator, database administrator (DBA), or security administrator.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DMS console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, choose System Management > Intelligent Operation.
  • Work Order Quantity: You can view how many tickets of each type are submitted every day and how the numbers change during a specific period of time. You can view the ranking of users who submit most tickets during a specific period of time. You can also view how tickets of different types or statuses submitted on a specific day are related.

  • Query volume: You can view how many queries are performed and how many rows are affected every day and how the numbers change during a specific period of time. You can view the ranking of users who perform most queries in single or logical databases during a specific period of time. You can also view how query statements of different types executed on a specific day are related.

  • Users: You can view the number of DMS users under the current tenant and the number of times that DMS users log on to the DMS console every day and how the numbers change during a specific period of time.

  • Metadata: You can view how instances, databases, tables, or sensitive fields of different quantities managed in DMS on a specific day are related.1
