After you receive a Smart Access Gateway (SAG) device or reset an SAG device, you must first activate the device before you can use it.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the SAG console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region.
  3. After you receive the SAG device that you have ordered, perform the following operations to activate the device:
    1. On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to manage and choose More > Activate in the Actions column.
    2. In the Activate dialog box, click OK.
  4. After you reset an SAG device, perform the following operations to activate the device:
    1. On the Smart Access Gateway page, find and click the SAG instance that you want to manage.
    2. On the instance details page, click the Device Management tab.
    3. If the SAG instance is associated with two SAG devices, choose the one that you want to activate.
    4. Click Activate Device.
