Smart Access Gateway (SAG) instances may become unavailable due to overdue payments or expiration. We recommend that you renew your SAG instances at the earliest opportunity to ensure business continuity. This topic describes how to renew an SAG instance.

Renew an SAG CPE instance or an SAG vCPE instance

  • If you renew an SAG customer-premises equipment (CPE) instance, you can renew only the extra bandwidth for the SAG CPE instance.
  • If you renew an SAG vCPE instance, you can renew both the SAG vCPE instance and the extra bandwidth for the SAG vCPE instance.
  1. Log on to the SAG console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region.
  3. On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to renew and choose More icon > Renew in the Actions column.
  4. On the page that appears, specify Duration, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.

Change specifications of an SAG CPE instance or an SAG vCPE instance during renewal

You can change the bandwidth of an SAG CPE instance or an SAG vCPE instance when you renew the instance based on your business requirements. After the SAG CPE instance or the SAG vCPE instance is renewed and its bandwidth is changed, the new bandwidth takes effect during the subscription duration that you specify in the renewal.

  1. Log on to the SAG console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region.
  3. On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to renew and change specifications, and choose More icon > Renew and Change Specification in the Actions column.
  4. On the page that appears, specify Duration and Peak Bandwidth. Read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.

Renew an SAG app instance

  1. Log on to the SAG console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Smart Access Gateway App > SAG App Instances.
  4. On the SAG App Instances page, find the SAG app instance that you want to renew and choose More icon > Renew in the Actions column.
  5. On the page that appears, specify Duration, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.

Change specifications of an SAG app instance during renewal

You can change the quota of client accounts for an SAG app instance when you renew the SAG app instance based on your business requirements. After the SAG app instance is renewed and the quota of client accounts for the SAG app instance is changed, the new quota takes effect during the subscription duration that you specify in the renewal.

  1. Log on to the SAG console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Smart Access Gateway App > SAG App Instances.
  4. On the SAG App Instances page, find the SAG app instance that you want to renew and change specifications, and choose More icon > Renew and Modify Configuration in the Actions column.
  5. On the page that appears, specify Number of Client Accounts and Duration, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.

Renew an application acceleration plan

  1. Log on to the SAG console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Acceleration Plan.
  4. On the Application Acceleration Plan page, find the application acceleration plan and click Renew in the Actions column.
  5. On the page that appears, specify Subscription Duration, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
