CloudDBA provides the performance trends feature that allows you to monitor the basic performance of an ApsaraDB for Redis instance and the operational trends for a specified period of time. The performance trends include the CPU utilization, memory usage, queries per second (QPS), total connections, response time, network traffic, and key hit information.

An ApsaraDB for Redis Community Edition or Enhanced Edition instance is created. For more information, see Performance-enhanced instances, Persistent memory-optimized instances, and Storage-optimized instances.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for Redis console.
  2. In the top navigation bar of the page, select the region in which the instance is deployed.
  3. On the Instances page, click the ID of the instance.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, choose CloudDBA > Performance Trends.
  5. You can view performance trends in the following manner:

    • Performance trends

Click the Performance Trends tab and specify a time range. Then, click Search.

      • You can select a specific node for a read/write splitting instance.
      • By default, Correlation is enabled. If you move the pointer over the CPU chart to view the CPU metric of the ApsaraDB for Redis instance at 09:00, other charts also display other metrics of the instance at 09:00.
      • To view the definition of the performance metric and the performance trend, click Definition? and Details in the upper-right corner of the chart.
    • Performance trend comparison

To compare the performance trends within the two time periods, click the Performance Trend Comparison tab, set two time periods, select more metrics, and then click Search.

    • Custom chart

The preceding two methods display the basic metrics of an ApsaraDB for Redis instance. If you want to display only basic metrics, you can configure custom performance trend charts. For more information, see Add a performance trend chart.
