After a vSwitch owner shares a vSwitch with you, you can use the vSwitch without confirmation from the owner. You can create cloud resources, such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, Server Load Balancer (SLB) instances, and ApsaraDB for RDS instances, in the shared vSwitch.

Create a cloud resource in a shared vSwitch

  1. Log on to the VPC console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click VSwitches.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the shared vSwitch is deployed.
  4. On the VSwitches page, find the vSwitch in which you want to create a cloud resource, click Create in the Actions column, and then select the cloud resource that you want to create.

View shared vSwitches in the VPC console

  1. Log on to the VPC console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click VSwitches.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the shared vSwitch is deployed.
  4. On the VSwitches page, view the shared vSwitches.
    vSwitches shared with you are marked as Shared.

View shared vSwitches in the Resource Management console

  1. Log on to the Resource Management console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, select Resource Sharing > Resources Shared To Me.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the vSwitches are deployed.
  4. On the Resources Shared To Me page, find the resource share that you want to manage and click the ID of the resource share.
  5. In the Shared Resources section, view the shared vSwitches.
