This topic describes how to configure a trail chart to display query results. The topic also provides an example.

Overview

A trail chart uses an AMap to display the trail of a target over a period of time. A trail chart can be created based on points of interest (POI) or latitudes and longitudes.

A trail chart consists of the following basic elements:
  • Map canvas
  • Points and lines
  • Timeline

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Log Service console.
  2. Click the target project in the Projects section.
  3. Choose Log Management > Logstores, click the management icon of the target Logstore, and then select Management icon > Search & Analysis.
  4. Enter a query statement in the search box, select a time range, and then click Search & Analyze.
  5. Click Trail chart - 003 to display the query results in a trail chart.
  6. On the Properties tab, configure the properties of the chart.
    Parameter Description
    Trail Type The type of the trail chart. Valid values: Longitude/Latitude and POI.
    Identity Column Select a field to identify trail data.
    Information Column Select one or more fields to be displayed on the chart.

    You can click a point on the trail chart, and the information will be displayed on a pop-up window.

    Longitude If you set Trail Type to Longitude/Latitude, you must set this parameter. Select the field in which the longitude data is included.
    Latitude If you set Trail Type to Longitude/Latitude, you must set this parameter. Select the field in which the latitude data is included.
    POI Field If you set Trail Type to POI, you must set this parameter. Select the field in which the POI data is included.
