Billing methods

Billing method Expiration/Overdue payment Renewal
Subscription: You must make a one-time payment when you purchase an instance. When the subscription expires, your instance is locked. The data on the instance will be retained for seven days. No fee is charged when your instance is locked. If you do not renew the subscription, your instance will be released seven days after the expiration date, and the data on the instance will be permanently deleted. You can renew the subscription before the expiration date or within seven days after the expiration date. After you renew the subscription, the instance is billed based on the newly specified specification and subscription duration.
Pay-as-you-go: Your instance is charged based on the specification and bill statements are generated on an hourly basis. Fees are automatically deducted from your account. If your account does not have sufficient balance to pay the bills, all instances under your account become overdue. Pay-as-you-go instances will be locked when the payment has been overdue for more than 24 hours. The instance will be released when the payment has been overdue for more than seven days. The data on the released instance will be permanently deleted. Pay-as-you-go instances are charged based on the actual usage over time. Make sure that your account has sufficient balance.
