Billing methods

Billing method Suspension due to expiration or overdue payments Renewal
Subscription: You must make a one-time payment when you purchase an instance. When your instance expires, it is locked. The data on the instance is retained for seven more days. No fee is charged when your instance is locked. If you do not renew the instance, it is released seven days after the expiration date, and the data on the instance is permanently deleted. You can renew the instance before the expiration date or within seven days after the expiration date. After you renew the instance, it is charged based on the newly specified specification and subscription duration.
Pay-as-you-go: Your instance is charged based on the specification and bill statements are generated on an hourly basis. Fees are automatically deducted from your account. If your account does not have a sufficient balance to pay the bills, all pay-as-you-go instances that belong to your account become overdue. If the payment is overdue for more than 24 hours, a pay-as-you-go instance is locked. If the payment is overdue for more than seven days, the instance is released, and the data on the released instance is permanently deleted. Pay-as-you-go instances are charged based on the actual usage over time. No renewal is required. Make sure that your account has a sufficient balance.
