You can disable a rule if you do not need it temporarily.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Cloud Config console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Rules.
  3. On the Rules page that appears, find the target rule and choose More icon > Deactivate Rule in the Actions column.
  4. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.Confirmation dialog box
  5. View the rule status.
    After you disable the rule, the rule status in the Status column changes to Inactive.

What to do next

To enable a rule that is in the Inactive state, choose More icon > Activate Rule in the Actions column. After you enable the rule, its status changes to Active.
