You can disable a rule if you do not need it temporarily.
- Log on to the Cloud Config console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Rules.
- On the Rules page that appears, find the target rule and choose > Deactivate Rule in the Actions column.
- In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
- View the rule status.
After you disable the rule, the rule status in the Status column changes to Inactive.
