You can expand an ACK Edge cluster in the Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) console. You do not need to purchase edge nodes and add these nodes to the cluster. You can directly purchase edge nodes on the cluster expansion page. The purchased nodes are automatically added to the cluster. This topic describes how to expand an ACK Edge cluster by adding edge nodes of Edge Node Service (ENS) or by adding Elastic Compute Service (ECS) nodes.
Prerequisites
ENS is activated in the ENS console.
Procedure
Log on to the ACK console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.
On the Clusters page, find the ACK Edge cluster that you want to manage and choose in the Actions column.
Click the Add ENS Node tab. Configure the edge nodes to be added and click Submit on the right side of the page.
