    :Delete an ASM instance

    You can delete a Service Mesh (ASM) instance that you no longer need.

    Prerequisites

    Clusters are removed from the ASM instance that you want to delete. For more information, see Remove a cluster from an ASM instance.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the ASM console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Service Mesh > Mesh Management.

    2. On the Mesh Management page, find the ASM instance that you want to delete, click the Delete icon in the Actions column, and then click Delete.

    3. In the Delete ASM Instance dialog box, select the resources that you want to retain and click OK.

      Important

      After you delete an ASM instance, you cannot use the features provided by the instance. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.

    Result

    The value in the Status field of the ASM instance changes to Deleting. You can click Refresh to update the status. After the ASM instance is deleted, the instance is no longer displayed on the Mesh Management page.
